Pan Fried Fish with Sauce

It was weekend again and it is more home cook food time! Since my hubby and my son love fish to bits. I decided to get some fish slices and pan fry for them. Instead of just pan fry fish, I made some sauce for the dish so that my son can eat with the rice. This dish turns out to be both of their favourite. Both of them finished the whole slice of fish. It is rewarding indeed to just think a little to make them happy and appetizing! According to my hubby, he likes the sauce because the LP sauce brings out the kick of it.
Here is my simple and easy recipe:
Ingredients:
Fish slice - 1 piece (I used Tenggiri fish)
Butter - 2 tbsp
Oil - 4 tbsp
Salt - 1/2 tsp
Corn Flour / Tapioca Flour
Onion - chopped finely
Parsley - For garnishing
Seasonings:
2 tbsp Oyster sauce
2 tbsp Light soya sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp Lee & Perrin sauce
1 tsp corn flour
200ml water
Methods:
1. Coat fish with salt & corn flour. Set aside.
2. Heat oil, add in butter. As soon as foaming subsides, put in fish and fry till golden brown. (Don't over cook this fish as it will becomes harden)
3. In another wok, heat oil, sautee onions till translucent.
4. Mix the seasoning in a bowl. Add in the wok and mix well with the onions.
5. Simmer for 1 min, dish out and pour on the fish.
6. Garnish with parsley and serve.
* You may use variety of fish slice, such as cod fish, salmon fish, ikan merah, kurau & so many more!
